Bombay Bicycle Club at Earls Court’s Last Ever Gig

Bombay Bicycle Club end their world tour with a bang at the legendary Earls Court in London, bidding it farewell in suitable fashion with a guest appearance by none other than David Gilmour from Pink Floyd. Sadly, this was the last ever gig at Earls Court as the historic venue is being pulled down soon.

The band played to a full house, rounding off their world tour with a brilliant spectacle of a show including a guest performance from David Gilmour and a stunning rendition with him of “Wish You Were Here”.

FOH Engineer Tom Wiggans and monitor engineer Simon Lutkin used a variety of DPA Mics to reinforce Bombay Bicycle Club’s dynamic and energetic performance, including frontman Jack Steadman and backing vocalist Liz Lawrence’s d:facto II vocal mics, d:vote™ 4099 Instrument mics on toms and close-miking cymbals and d:dicate™ 2011C on snare and kick on drums, with the brass section also sporting d:vote™ 4099S and 4099T sax and brass mics.
