The type 4041 is an omnidirectional microphone that uses the 24mm (1in) Modular Microphone Cartridge MMC4041.
Frequency response is from 10Hz to 20kHz with a 4-6 dB soft boost around 8kHz.

The 4041-SP is the standard 48v version of the microphone, whilst the 4041 is powered by the MMA4000 microphone amplifier. This 130v high-voltage version offers an extra 10dB headroom and improved transient response.
