The 4060 series are prepolarized omnidirectional miniature condenser microphones. They have a 5.4mm vertical diaphragm specially designed for maximum performance under the often difficult conditions that occur when mics are mounted directly on the human body or an instrument. The utmost attention has been paid to the microphone's resistance to humidity.

Considering their size, DPA has obtained a very low noise floor with these microphones and if powered correctly they will be able to handle sound pressure levels up to 134dB SPL before clipping occurs. A wide range of connection adaptors makes it possible to use the Miniature Microphones with almost any available professional wireless system or 48v phantom power.
