We’re bringing Sony and DPA Microphones to the Excellence in Sound exhibition (EIS16) in Bristol this Friday, 1 July. EIS16 is hosted by Rycote Microphone Windshields Ltd, and is firmly focused on promoting the importance of professional sound capture. In recognition of the tough, technical challenges facing audio professionals in the industry today, EIS16 aims to provide an enjoyable forum for the sharing of knowledge, insight and practice in this area.
Who’s coming to EIS16
Having just been appointed Sony Pro Audio distributor for the UK and Ireland, Sound Network be showing the excellent Sony Wireless products as well has have plenty of their other professional audio products including headphones and portable recorders for you to have a play with.
DPA Microphones will be there, with Nils Vinding giving a talk on bodyworn microphones and their correct use and concealment for maximum speech intelligibility. With some of the recent sound issues affecting a few productions recently, this will prove invaluable and important information on how to achieve excellent sound recordings on the way in. Nils’s talk will be at 13:45 – 14:30, so make sure to get there in time for this.
