First of a few photos of the Meris [440] Pre being used to record viola parts for the the Penguin Cafe album. Using it in an Aphex USB 500 rack feeding the computer via USB (clocking from a Prism Orpheus). We are using a vintage Neumann U87 at the front of the chain. The Meris is going into an Inward Connections Brute limiter which is based on the old Urei LA2a. The system sounds amazing!
