The DPA 4006C Omnidirectional Compact Pencil Microphone’s versatility and sonic fidelity is unsurpassed, complemented by a number of interchangeable acoustic attachments available for modifying the microphones pick up characteristics.

Being an omni microphone there is no proximity effect with the 4006A, so you can get as close as you like without any bass lift – this gives a very intimate sound without the boominess displayed by cardioid microphones.

The DPA 4006C comes with a DD0251 free field grid, a DD0254 close miking grid, a DD0297 diffuse field grid, microphone clip, windshield and it’s own individual calibration chart. With the addition of a further 4 acoustic attachments (UA0777, L50B, L40B, L30B) available, the result is a microphone with 7 different pick up patterns to ensure perfect linearity in every situation.

All DPA 4000 series Pencil microphones come with a 5 year warranty.
