The d:dicate™ 4041-SP omni recording microphone comprises of a one-inch omnidirectional capsule which, as described here, has a 48v phantom powered solid state preamp offering amazing clarity and dynamics, ideal for studio vocal and instrumental recordings.
The microphone has a dynamic range of almost 120dB with a spookily low noise floor of only 8dB and can handle sound pressure levels of up to 134db before clipping. The sonic clarity of this microphone is unsurpassed and, as one would expect, this is also reflected in its price, though it is worth every penny.
The DPA d:dicate 4041 is for life and probably longer offering a unique investment in music technology history. The microphone package includes a tubular clip,
