DPA d:facto™ Vocal Microphone

The DPA d:facto™ Vocal microphone brings studio quality sound to the live environment using the same condenser capsule technology as the award winning DPA 4011 Cardioid microphone.

The 4018V capsule in the d:facto has excellent off-axis rejection thanks to its unique polar pattern, while handling noise has been reduced to virtually null thanks to its innovative capsule mounting system.

The d:facto Vocal's modular design and extensive adapter range make it unique in that it can be coupled with all major wireless systems. See the list of DPA d:facto wireless adaptors in the description below.

Product Description

The DPA d:facto™ Vocal microphone is designed to bring studio-quality sound to the stage without any of the problems studio microphones can usually caused in this demanding environment. Using experience gained from building the award-winning DPA 4011 cardioid capsule, DPA tailored the d:facto’s capsule to give a far more directional pick-up pattern as well as excellent rejection of feedback and off axis neutrality.

Designed specifically to give engineers the power of excellent studio quality sound in most any environment, the d:facto Vocal’s capsule speaks for itself. It has been the workhorse of many well known engineers the world over, but never before in the robust vocal microphone format in which it is now available. The d:facto Vocal mic features a high boost to accentuate the natural vocal range, though if you want a totally linear response check out the DPA d:facto Linear Vocal mic.

The d:facto Vocal capsule is suspended in a pop-proof housing to optimise handling noise. As well as it’s excellent full-bandwidth frequency response, the d:facto is capable of handling sound pressure levels up to 160dB before clipping. This is definitely not your average vocal microphone and must be heard to be believed.
