The DPA d:fine™ Directional Headset microphone, dual-ear takes head worn miniature mics to a different level with its modular design and miniature cardioid mic capsule. It is available in black, brown, beige and lime colour options and with 100mm and 120mm length mic booms.

The d:fine Directional Headset mic features a slim capsule with a very natural on- and off-axis frequency response, and tiny visual footprint, allowing the wearer free movement of their head and face without looking bulky. The d:fine Slim Directional Headset is perfect for live presentations or broadcast use where background noise rejection is necessary and consistent high-quality audio is key.

The DPA d:fine™ 4188 Cardioid Headset microphone’s capsule housing has a slimmer profile than its predecessors, without compromising performance and it’s directional characteristics offers higher gain before feedback and excellent off-axis attenuation – great for when used in noisy environments.

The d:fine’s 4188 headband system is almost undetectable when in place and the mic can be mounted on one ear if required, by detaching the headband and second ear frame. The system will fit any ear size and head shape and is quickly and easily adjusted. In performance terms the D:Fine 4188 stays true to the DPA philosophy of true clarity together with extreme level handling capabilities and is sonically tailored for mounting close to the mouth.

The headset’s detachable microphone cable is terminated to a microdot connector which can be used with any of the DPA adapters depending on which wireless system is being used.
