DPA d:screet™ CORE 4062 Omni Lavalier Microphone

The DPA d:screet™ CORE 4062 Omni Lavalier Microphone is similar to the d:screet™ 4060 Mini Omni Mic, but is sensitivity adjusted to match extremely loud sound pressure levels (SPLs).

With the correct power source, the microphone can handle sound pressure levels up to 154 dB before clipping occurs, making it ideal for close mic’ing drums, brass and even the perfect choice when mic’ing cars engines and exhaust pipes.

This mic is available in two colours: black and beige.

Now in its next evolution, the d:screet ‘CORE’ 4060 series of Miniature Omnidirectional Microphones bring extra clarity and detail to live speech and vocals, further distancing themselves from their competitors.

The DPA d:screet™ CORE 4062 Omnidirectional Lavalier Microphone was developed to withstand even the toughest of conditions in live performance, containing a 5.4 mm diameter pre-polarized condenser element with a vertical diaphragm.

The CORE by DPA d:screet™ 4062 is an omnidirectional microphone has sensitivity at all angles – which means it’s capable picking up sound equally from all directions.

A double vent protection system makes the mic greatly resistant to humidity and sweat, whilst its Kevlar-reinforced cable relief can withstand constant every-day twists, bends and pulls of any live performance. ­­Adding further flexibility, the microphone can be configured to run easily and effortlessly with a huge range of the industry’s proffered wireless systems, but if you prefer, the mics is available with an XLR adapter to run via a wired system.
