The CORE 4071 is not available yet, availability TBA.

DPA d:screet™ CORE 4071 Omni Lavalier Microphone is acoustically identical to the d:screet™ 4060 Mini Omni Mic, but features a presence boost of typically 5 dB at 4 to 6 kHz. This microphone will be able to handle sound pressure levels (SPLs) of up to 144 dB before clipping occurs.

This presence boost is an essential for a chest-placed microphones due to the frequency range of words spoken being dampened in this position. The d:screet™ CORE 4071 maximises speech intelligibility. The mic also has an acoustic low-cut at 100 Hz to remove any unwelcome rumble noise.

Given that the mic is optimised for speech for speech, the d:screet™ CORE 4071 is appropriate for news crews, in-studio reporters and when the mics are needing to be concealed under clothing.

Now in its next evolution, the DPA d:screet™ CORE 4071 from the d:screet ‘CORE’ 4060 series of Miniature Omnidirectional Microphones brings extra clarity and detail to live speech and vocals, further improving on an industry standard tool. The DPA d:screet™ series is the world’s leading mic for speech and vocal performance and has become the industry standard microphone in live theatre and broadcast.

The DPA d:screet™ CORE 4071 Omnidirectional Lavalier Microphone was developed to withstand even the toughest of conditions in live performance, containing a 5.4 mm diameter pre-polarized condenser element with a vertical diaphragm.

The CORE by DPA d:screet™ 4071 is an omnidirectional microphone has sensitivity at all angles – which means it’s capable picking up sound equally from all directions.

A double vent protection system makes the mic greatly resistant to humidity and sweat, whilst its Kevlar-reinforced cable relief can withstand constant every-day twists, bends and pulls of any live performance. Adding further flexibility, the microphone can be configured to run easily and effortlessly with a huge range of the industry’s proffered wireless systems, but if you prefer, the mics is available with an XLR adapter to run via a wired system.
