The d:screet™ 4161 Slim Omni Miniature Mic features the same capsule as the d:screet™ 4061 Omnidirectional Miniature Microphone, but in a different, slimmer housing

The sensitivity of the 4161 Slim has been fine-tuned to accommodate higher sound pressure levels of 144 dB peak before clipping. This makes it one of the best miniature condenser microphones for use on very loud voices, all in a small and unobtrusive package.

The d:screet™ CORE 4161 Slim is 10 dB less sensitive than the d:screet™ 4160 Slim, making it the ideal choice for when used for hidden applications, for example when mounted on the head or forehead of a theatre or stage performer, which is about 10dB louder than what you would encounter with a chest placed lapel microphone.

The DPA d:screet™ CORE 4161 Slim is an omnidirectional microphone has sensitivity at all angles – which means it’s capable picking up sound equally from all directions.
