Product Description

The d:vote™ 4099U Universal Clip Microphone is the result of DPA’s extensive research and development, making it a highly directional capsule designed for use in hostile stage environments with drums, amplified instruments and monitoring. The pick up pattern of the capsule ensures maximum isolation with maximum gain before feedback.

Despite the d:vote 4099U’s acute directional characteristics, the 4099U produces a very natural sound, both, on and off axis. The mounting system is designed as a universal system, but fits perfectly to the Clarinet by way of an adjustable Velcro strip that secures the microphone to the body of the instrument just above the bell.

The 4099U comes with a DAD4099 XLR adapter which requires a 48v Phantom feed, but the mic can also be used with a wireless microphone system using the correct DPA adapter.
