DPA ST4011A Cardioid Pencil Microphone Stereo Pair

The DPA ST4011A Cardioid Pencil Microphone Stereo Pair contains two 4011A first order cardioid mics with perfect frequency linearity 30 cms from the source, and very smooth off-axis characteristics. Ideal as drum overheads, vocal and instrument ensembles, single instrument miking both in studio and live situations.

The 4011A is one of the most versatile mics of the DPA family and as part of the DPA microphone range the 4011A now features modular design allowing you to easily pair the brilliant 4011 cardioid capsule with other preamps from the range.

Included in this kit are two carefully matched 4011A cardioid microphones, a sturdy Peli™ case, mic clips and windscreens.

Product Description

The 4011A cardioids in the DPA ST4011A Cardioid Pencil Microphone Stereo Pair are exceptionally linear in their frequency response – on and off off axis – giving you a truly natural miking experience. They handle extremely high SPL and will therefore allow for close placement and are often used for piano recordings with a placement closer to the hammers or as overheads for drums.

The DPA ST4011A is a complete DPA 4011A Stereo Pair with two carefully factory-matched first order cardioid microphones. Even though the standard tolerances on DPA Reference Standards are extremely low, a stereo match is even closer.

The specially selected DPA 4011A microphones are matched to within ±1 dB on both frequency response and sensitivity. The foam design in the heavy-duty transportation box allows for fast and easy exchange of microphone/accessory inlay.

All DPA microphones have a 5 year warranty.
