DPA 4098 CORE Miniature Supercardioid Podium Microphone, Microdot

The DPA 4098 CORE Miniature Supercardioid Podium Microphone features a directional (supercardioid) polar pattern with the extreme clarity and performance DPA miniature capsules are known for. Available in three boom lengths – 15cm, 30cm and 45cm, DPA’s 4098 lectern mics provide a superior microphone solution for conferences, public speakers, meeting rooms and broadcast. The 4098 is avaiable in Black or White.

One of the biggest issues faced when using lectern mics is the speaker drifting off-axis. The DPA 4098 CORE capsule is designed to have a much more natural sounding off-axis response than other podium mics, ensuring the speaker is always heard clearly while still attenuating ambient noise.

To ensure a speaker is heard correctly when addressing a crowd, the DPA 4098 CORE Miniature Supercardioid Podium Microphone delivers high intelligibility with controlled directionality (thanks to its supercardioid polar pattern) and excellent rejection of background noise.

The incredible linear frequency response of the DPA 4098 CORE miniature podium mic capsule packaged in a discrete and elegantly designed boom means that both visually and sound-wise, it delivers extraordinary results in all public speaking, broadcast, conference and meeting mic’ing situations.

The DPA 4098 CORE Miniature Supercardioid Podium Microphone with Microdot connector can be paired with a DM6000 Microphone Base and there is a bundle available with the 45cm microphone in Black (4098-DC-D-B01-045)
