Product Description

The DPA CORE 4066 offers a clean and transparent sound quality with miles of headroom.

Close attention has been paid to the humidity issues that often occur in theatrical situations. A double vent protection system, a drop stopper on the microphone boom, together with water resistant materials inside the microphone, makes the CORE 4066 incredibly resilient to humidity-caused failures and rated to IP58 standards. The headset surface is matte gold plated and the earhooks are covered with a silicone hose, to further reinforce the 4066 against failure.

The DPA CORE 4066 Headset’s Omnidirectional capsule has a sensitivity of 6 mV/Pa to match the level of the human voice to the general input sensitivity of most wireless transmitters. If powered correctly the microphone will be able to handle sound pressure levels up to 144 dB SPL before clipping. A wide range of connection adapters makes it possible to use the CORE 4066 with most of the professional wireless systems available and standard XLR connections.
