DPA 4061 CORE Omnidirectional Lavalier Microphone, Loud SPL

The DPA CORE 4061 Omnidirectional Lavalier Microphone is acoustically identical to the CORE 4060 Miniature Omnidirectional Microphone, but its sensitivity has been adjusted to accommodate higher sound pressure levels (SPLs).

The CORE 4061 Miniature Omnidirectional Microphone (Loud SPL) can handle SPL up to 144 dB peak before clipping, making it ideally suited for use on very loud sound sources, such as some instruments and loud human voices.

At 10 dB less sensitive than the CORE 4060, The CORE 4061 works well when used for hidden applications, for example when mounted on the head or forehead of a theatre or stage performer, which is naturally louder than what you would encounter with a chest placed lapel microphone.

This Microphone is available in four colours: black, brown, beige and white.

Product Description

The DPA Lavalier series is the world’s leading Microphone for speech and vocal performance and has become the industry standard microphone in live theatre and broadcast. Now in its next evolution, the CORE 4060 series of Miniature Omnidirectional Microphones bring extra clarity and detail to live speech and vocals, further distancing themselves from their competitors.

The DPA CORE 4061 Omnidirectional Lavalier Microphone was developed to withstand even the toughest of conditions in live performance, containing a 5.4 mm diameter pre-polarized condenser element with a vertical diaphragm.

The DPA CORE 4061 Omnidirectional Lavalier Microphone is an omnidirectional microphone with sensitivity at all angles – which means it’s capable picking up sound equally from all directions.

A double vent protection system makes the Microphone greatly resistant to humidity and sweat, whilst its Kevlar-reinforced cable relief can withstand constant every-day twists, bends and pulls of any live performance. Adding further flexibility, the microphone can be configured to run easily and effortlessly with a huge range of the industry’s preferred wireless systems, but if you prefer, the mics is available with an XLR adapter to run via a wired system.

All CORE by DPA Microphones are now IP58 Rated for water and dust ingress
